Volleyball has been Coach Tobi’s safe space since she was a young girl, serving as a therapeutic outlet throughout her upbringing. Her love for the sport grew into a passion for coaching, which began in 2021 as a volunteer. In just one year, she contributed to the development of six different teams, laying the foundation for her coaching career.


In her first year as a head coach, Coach Tobi built the Great Hearts Roosevelt Girls Volleyball Program from the ground up, turning it into a successful program. She now leads as the Head Varsity Coach for the Desert Edge High School Boys Volleyball Program and is also the Frosh Team Head Coach for the Desert Edge High School Girls Volleyball Program.


Her coaching philosophy, “Lead with love; a good coach can change a game, a great coach can change a life,” reflects her commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for her athletes. Coach Tobi is dedicated to helping her players not only grow as athletes but also become respectable, genuine individuals.
