Coach Furco has been coaching volleyball for 12 seasons. His love for volleyball began in high school where he played at Wheaton Warrenville South High School in Illinois. 

He got his first coaching experience at West Chicago High School taking over the men's JV team after graduating from Western Michigan University with a major in Physical Education. Since moving to Arizona 7 years ago he has coached at La Joya High School for Freshman and JV Teams. 

​Currently he coaches the JV Men's Volleyball team at Millennium High School and the Avondale West Varsity team in Goodyear.  As a coach, he believes in the importance of growing his athletes to prepare them for the next level of volleyball.  As a first time club coach he is very excited to begin the season with Nexus!
