Coach Mikayla played high school volleyball at Millennium high school, and started coaching volleyball after she graduated from Lewis & Clark College where she played for four years at the collegiate level. While she lived in Oregon, she coached 12’s for two years at Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy in Portland, OR, and then decided it was time to move back to the Arizona.

In the 2020-2021 spring season, she coached as the boys varsity assistant at Canyon View High School then continued to be the varsity assistant for both boys and girls in 2021-2022. 

Currently, she helps coach the first Nexus boys team, and has moved to Verrado High School where she assists her dad for both the boys and girls programs.
