Jonathan began playing volleyball at the age of 15 and has been playing nonstop ever since. He started playing at local parks and as soon as he began, he knew he was hooked! His junior year in high school, he made the varsity team and played libero. For his senior year, he was trained all around and became a versatile player. He played outside and backup setter as well. Jonathan made first team all city and honorable mention for the state in 2013. After high school, he entered, placed, and won many tournaments and leagues. Throughout the years, he's helped coach girls teams in all positions and has helped many athletes in defensive skills. Jonathan believes volleyball is not only about physical skills, but also mental skills. "Building someone's confidence and will, will help their game so much. Trying to get better and better kept my mind straight and helped me through a lot, so volleyball is something I recommend to everyone!"
