Coach Chris has been coaching club sports for 11 years, launching his coaching career as a youth soccer coach and gradually transitioning into volleyball. This change came when his now 14 year-old daughter fell in love with the game of volleyball. Her passion and love for the sport rubbed off on him and he decided that coaching volleyball was the rightful place for him.
To kick off his first year coaching volleyball, Chris was brought in as the head coach of the 16R team. During that season he fine tuned his volleyball knowledge and skills to become a dedicated resource and asset to the club. At the start of his second season coaching volleyball, Coach Chris took on the responsibility of coaching and growing the 16 National 2 team for the 2018-2019 season. His team showed significant growth and achieved a 19th place finish in the state for the 16 Championship division. Coach Chris enjoys his time on the court with the athletes and always shows up excited to help each athlete grow both on and off the court.
Coach Chris believes in coaching with positive reinforcement to player/team development with an emphasis on winning with integrity. Due to this style of coaching, Coach Chris has developed dedicated players to the club.
Coach Chris is an IMPACT, CAP I, and SafeSport certified coach.
