Born and raised in the West Valley, Bella has always played sports. She has played soccer, softball, and volleyball, her personal favorite. She has been part of the Nexus family ever since she began her volleyball career in the Goodyear Recreational League in Fall 2012 where she was coached by Coach Zach. After getting over being afraid of the ball, volleyball seemed to stick. After 3 years and 6 seasons of recreational ball, Bella joined Nexus in their inaugural season and played on their 16’s regional team. Since then, Bella has played on the Nexus 16 National 1 team for the past 2 years. In last year’s season of club, Bella’s team went 11-1 in the Summer Festival tournament and placed 9th . Bella has played on varsity at Desert Edge for 2 years where she currently is a junior.
In addition to coaching, Bella is playing on the 17’s Open Black team. She mainly plays middle but has experience in every position. She is extremely dedicated to passing on her knowledge and helping train the next generation of volleyball players. Bella hopes to be like a big sister to the girls and is excited to coach for the first time. Bella is CPR certified.
